The Venice based brand produces simple, unconstructed pieces of tailoring that take inspiration from the brands long history which dates back to 1961. Founders Massimo Pigozzo, Giovanni Zara and Francesca Zara took the name Barena from ‘baro’ which when translated is ‘salt-water lagoon’ - meaning the body of water that Venice stands on. Known for their unconstructed tailored styles the Spring/Summer '15 collection includes Cotton and Woollen Jackets in trending colours along with cropped chino’s in two summer colourways. All made in Italy and used with top sourced fabrics the latest Barena collection is a true staple for the summer. We’ve been busy here at Content. As many of you will know, we are proud to have recently opened Content & Co, on Exmouth market in collaboration with our good friends at denim brand Edwin Japan - meanwhile over at Content HQ, on sleepy Lambs Conduit Street, we have just expanded our retail space with the grand opening of the basement for the more distinguished brands in the Content portfolio.

Expect to find one of the best selections in contemporary menswear featuring brands from across the globe in the guise of Canada Goose, Barena, Aspesi, CP Company, Woolrich and Barbour all complimented by some of the finest footwear by Red Wing, Alden and Nike.

What we hope to have created is three prime retail locations to match spending, style and season. We work tirelessly and source garments from all corners of the globe to supply you with a varied and ever so slightly indulgent selection.
