Gitman Vintage

The story of Gitman starts back in 1932, when Founder of Gitman Bros, Max Gitman fled New York to set up his previous clothing company, Ashland and Pajama company, based in a factory in Pennsylvania. With the help of his two sons, Alfred and Sheldon, Max ran the factory as a contracted shop up until 1978, which is when the Gitman Bros. brand was born. Re-birthed in 2008, Gitman Vintage pays tribute to the heritage and uniqueness that is, Gitman Bros. Gitman Vintage reworks and tweaks previous designs found in the Gitman archives, bridging the old with the new.
