In their Spring / Summer 2015 collection, Converse add a new shoe to their ever expanding Jack Purcell range. Introducing the Jack Purcell Signature Slip, a lace-less alternative to the classic lace up and perfect for those endless summer days spent out in the sun.
The shoe features a premium two-ply duck canvas upper combined with a vibrant white midsole that endorses the infamous Nike Zoom Air technology to provide the shoe with essential cushioning for casual wear. With minimal branding, the shoe can be effortlessly combined with a range of outfits making it a must have staple in anybody's wardrobe. Available in three colorways including blue, beige and dark grey, the jack Purcell Signature Slip On is guaranteed to be a hit for the coming summer.
As Converse are owned by Nike, the brand are going to be incorporating the Nike Zoom Air technology into all future Jack Purcell and Chuck Taylor 70's releases. Nike Zoom cushioning is part of the Nike Air family. Like its siblings, Nike Zoom is lightweight and durable. Because Nike Zoom cushioning is incredibly thin, it brings the foot closer to the ground and enhances stability, especially during quick cuts and multi-directional movements. After impact, the tightly stretched fibers inside the pressurized air unit quickly bounce back into shape, providing a super responsive feel and improved awareness of the surface you’re playing on.
